AMI Stadium, Christchurch’s newest conference destination, shares the same site as some of New Zealand’s greatest sporting moments.
The Stadium is Christchurch’s premium outdoor sporting and entertainment venue but also offers a variety of meeting and event facilities to cater for small private meetings or larger events for up to 1500 people.
Conference organisers have a truly unique environment to host their event and the strong rugby heritage can easily be drawn on to create a truly memorable occasion for delegates.
The new Deans Stand at AMI Stadium boasts impressive facilities for conferences, meetings and gala dinners. A large Main Lounge comfortably accommodates large plenary groups and banquet dinners. The adjacent Field Lounge is an ideal setting for exhibits, cocktail functions or smaller dinners, with spectacular views over the playing surface by day and night.
There are also six smaller lounges on the same level suitable as breakout spaces for up to 100 people.
While the new Deans Stand features a range of new spaces, the rest of AMI Stadium offers a variety of meeting spaces and event lounges suitable for small meetings for 10 through to large event dinners for 500. These spaces all feature panoramic views of the Stadium playing surface.
AMI Stadium is three kilometres from the centre of Christchurch. Coaches can park immediately alongside the lifts that provide easy access to the Stadium’s event and conference facilities and public car parking is complimentary.
