Vodafone Event Centre & Vector Wero Whitewater Park
For more than 12 years, Vodafone Events Centre has hosted, welcomed and entertained more than 2.2 million patrons, clients and guests. We’ve had thousands of events — exhibits, concerts, conferences, conventions, seminars, festivals, fairs, fashion shows, graduations, performances, plays, weddings, community activities, workshops, and every event conceivable — and have become a special place of great memories and a magnificent centre of successful outcomes.
Owned and operated by Second Nature Charitable Trust, on behalf of the community, they are Auckland’s most iconic event venue. Intersected by two main motorways’ and just 10 minutes from the Auckland’s domestic and international airports, it is one of the most convenient and ideal locations, close to essential establishments and accommodation.
Opened at the events centre in 2016, the adjacent Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre offers a fully adaptable space that can be utilised as a standalone venue or a seamless walk through connecting to the main building.
The highly flexible and spacious venues can accommodate board meetings for 10, conferences for 1500 or extensive exhibitions — all under one roof!
Also conveniently located at the events centre is Vector Wero Whitewater Park, a world class tourism destination of national significance. Add a shot of adrenalin to your meeting or conference and accept the challenge of an outdoor education facility that engages and thrills. The two artificial white water courses cater for rafters of all levels while stand up paddle boarding and can be enjoyed on the tranquil lake. After team building, enjoy a cold beverage and gourmet pizza lake side at the Corona Bar.
