Best Stand Award Winners

The Best Stand Awards are a highlight of MEETINGS and announcements are made during the MEETINGS Dinner at the conclusion of the event.
CINZ engage three respected, independent judges to choose the winners of each category. Congratulations to the winners!

2018 Winners

Best Regional Stand 
Winner: Rotorua 

The judges were impressed with how welcoming the stand was, featuring greenery, bench seats and Māori culture. The stand representatives followed through with their warmth and passion while educating buyers on the destination as their number one priority. 

Best New Exhibitor 
Winner: Lux Productions

The combination of a visually interesting space and the friendly 'meet and greet' at the entrance created a personal touch that drew the judges in to learn more. The judges appreciated the effort and thoughtfulness that went into the stand, a recreated forest, complete with water feature and bird calls.

Best Individual Stand
Winner: Naumi Hotel Auckland (Airport)

The attention to detail on this stand helped contribute to the judges' decision. Initially the judges noticed the attractive, bright and welcoming space, however the experience continued with the helpful and considerate representatives on the stand.

2017 Winners

Best Regional Stand 
Winner: Auckland Convention Bureau

The judges said Auckland really stood out on the show floor. They claimed their space from the ground up! The team were cohesive and easily recognisable with their Auckland badges and there was an obvious energy on the stand.

Best First Timer
Winner: Christchurch Adventure Park

The judges said they made a huge effort to re-create the feel of the Park and bring it to life. The team were friendly, engaged and passionate and along with the aroma of the real tree, it made for a memorable delegate visit.

Best Individual Stand
Winner: Cut the Mustard

The judges loved their creative concept. It really demonstrated what they could do. The judges specifically mentioned the upcycling of materials as a point of difference, as well as it being an interactive experience for delegates.

2016 Winners

Best Regional Stand
Winner: Hamilton & Waikato Bureau

The judges said the stand was appealing, had a relaxation and business zone, the partners on the stand had a vision of growth for the region and were passionate about their product offerings.

Best First-Timer
Winner: La Lumiere

The judges said their stand was catchy, elegant, different, stood out, told it story and was a magnet on the show floor.

Best Individual Stand
Winner: Rydges Worldwide

The judges said Rydges had a great Interactive stand with staff that were so committed to sharing what they have, it is was great sales tool and the judges said they could use this for their clients.
