As Destination and Tourism manager with Development West Coast, my role is to enable the community vision for tourism into reality. Working with tourism operators, mana whenua, DOC and wide industry, we stive to build a sustainable tourism industry that enriches communities and visitors. In doing so, we co-create with industry, and stakeholders, to define the region’s proposition for the Business Events segment, and most importantly what does this mean for visitors and local communities.
